Confidence is the belief in yourself or your abilities.

In helping people in all aspects of their lives over the last 22 years, if I had to say what was the common thread that everyone needed from working with me, it would be confidence. Over time it has become my specialty.

What does confidence mean to you? Do you consider yourself confident? Is there an area of your life where your confidence is lacking? Here’s the funny thing no matter how successful someone is almost invariably when I say are you confident in every aspect of your life they will tell me no.

Many people will tell me they have no confidence.

My question to them is, “What’s really in charge of your life?”

Have you ever had days when things are great, and everything is flowing? When you are full of confidence in yourself and your abilities? What about days, where nothing seems to go right, and opportunity seems to be nowhere, and nothing works?

For most people, this seems completely dependent on external circumstances. Some days you just feel good. Other days you don’t. They believe it’s random.

They are wrong.

There’s a formula for confidence and you can learn that formula.

Confidence is more than a belief it’s also a habit, a way you walk through the world. And it can be learned. I am living proof of that. Growing up skinny, acne ridden, full of allergies, and clinically depressed, I was, oddly enough, not the most confident person. I had to learn how to be confident.

Because a lack of confidence will keep you from achieving anything you put your mind to, it’s that simple. Think about it if – you don’t believe that you can do something- how will you possibly do it?

But most people who read this far realize that their life is not going as they’d like it to. They also realize that there is no one responsible for that but them. And further they realize that they are the only ones that can change it and they are the ones that need to take action now.
